Hungarian Chocolate Frosting

This frosting is rich, velvety, and decedent, Hungarian Chocolate Frosting is a classic styled traditional frosting. This is definitely worth the effort, better than any store bought frosting you'll find!

Servings 1.5 cups

Ingredients
  

  • 3 oz Unsweetened Baking Chocolate 3 squares
  • tbsp Hot Water
  • cups Powdered Icing Sugar
  • 3 Egg Yolks
  • 4 tbsp Butter Or Margarine

Instructions
 

  • Melt chocolate in double boiler
    Melt Chocolate
  • Remove bowl from boiling water, blend in sugar and water, it should be slightly crumbled.
    Mix sugar
  • Blend in the egg yolks one yolk at a time. The mix will get more smooth with each addition.
    Add Egg yolks
  • Blend in butter 1 tbsp at a time. Mix thoroughly
